Ah, it is that time of year where kids travel from house to house with sacks ready to ransack the candy supply.  They get to dress up in their favorite character and eat lots of candy.  Oh, and the candy factories get to make lots of candy!  It’s all about the candy…

This year, for the second year in a row, I let them have store bought costumes.  I just don’t have the time or inclination to make them something they will wear a few times and then forget about it.

The only thing I did make was a ninja sword holder that went across Kai’s back.  It seemed to slide a bit, but it didn’t go back under the sewing machine.  My machine did not like the pleather fabric, so I just called it good and DONE.

Kailan is, of course, a fierce ninja.

Anya is Frankie Stein from Monster High.  Yes, she is basically a Bratz doll dressed up for Halloween.

Here they are…all ready to hit the road with Daddy!
