So, here we are…another pattern test.  Hope you all aren’t getting sick of this yet. 😉

I really wasn’t sure the girl would want to wear this, because, yet again…dress.  I figured if I put lots of cats on it, then I might get a taker.  She did end up liking it, so we have a winner!

This cat fabric is what is left from making her a cute little outfit when she was two years old.

I loved that outfit, and I had the remainders in my drawer full of partial yard cuts of quilting cottons.  When I was taking everything out to cut them up for blankets for the teenagers at church, I set this piece aside.  I was hoping there was something coming up that she might wear.

It is knit on top and woven on the bottom.  I forewent all of the ruffles, but otherwise kept all the measurements the same for a size 10.  It fit her very well.

The vinyl decal is from the Silhouette store…again.  I am almost out of the credit I received when Brian got the machine for me two Christmas’ ago.  It was really nice having that credit, since they have a lot of designs in their store.  I can usually find something that will work for my sewing projects.

The little vest is one I drafted up.  Fully lined…all seams enclosed.  I had to handstitch up the inside side seam.  The buttons are old ones from the stash.

I have been working diligently, on and off, on the kids’ costumes for the Con, too.  Malificent is forming up nicely.  A friend of mine gave me a heat cutter for foam, so I am going to use that to cut the horns.  My main concern with that project is getting them the same on each side.

Sooo many projects…never enough time!
