This coming week’s Theme Thursday will be the last one I will host. I am having a hard time coming up with new themes each week and life is just getting so busy. I need to take something off my ever growing TO DO LIST. The participants have been dwindling quite a bit, too, so that has cemented my decision. I have had a wonderful time hosting this, and visiting the blogs of those who participate. Thanks so much to everyone who has contributed to Theme Thursday over the past 1.5 years. If anyone is interested in carrying the torch, just let me know and I can announce it next week.

Today I am off to an annual outing with my girlfriends. We go to a historic rivertown and visit a spa there. We also rent a house that the spa owns and spend the evening chatting, eating fattening things, drinking wine and playing games. I am really looking forward to the rest, but lament that my cabinets are not getting another coat of paint. There’s always Sunday, though. This year my goal is to not drink too much wine as I need to get rolling Sunday morning and get back to my paintin’! The countertop goes in on Wednesday, and I’d really like to at least have those primed.

Enjoy your day. I am heading to oldest daughter’s new home to paint and clean some more. Hubby is helping to put in a laminate floor in the family room. I can’t wait to go, as I have been up since 4 am!
AAAaaHHHhhhhhh!!!! Change: the only constant in life. Will miss the recipes, the sewing not so much……..LOL losing Your fellowship and wit, will be closing the book after the last chapter of a good book.

It’s obvious that I have missed Theme Thursday quite often in the last few months – I’ve missed blogging, but life’s business has kept me otherwise occupied. I know what I can blog on for this last Theme Thursday, so I’ll try to get that done to publish ahead of time!

I have cut way back too…too many other things to do. I don’t feel stressed I just want to make sure I am more present in other parts of my life…ya know?

It seems like blogging for everyone has slowed down. I will miss Theme Thursday for sure, but sometimes something has to give. I seriously don’t know how you do everything!!

I agree that blogging has slowed down all around…even me. I will miss seeing everyones themed shots. What an appropriate but challenging theme to end on. I do look forward to seeing your kitchen completed though!
Oh, thanks everyone! I know some will miss the theme’s but I’ve reached the end of my creativity on that. I’m.just.tired. Oh, and I am not stopping blogging…just the themes. 🙂

I’ve always wanted to be able to make it for Theme Thursday weekly, but I just haven’t had the time! I CERTAINLY understand you wanting to take something off your plate! I will be sad to see Theme Thursdays go though…you did a great job of coming up with themes!! Blogging hasn’t been this slow for me in over a year…too much to do in life right now. But, I’m not giving it up, it just will have to be more sporadic for now I guess and I guess I have to be ok with that for now too…
I can totally empathize with “life is just getting so busy”. I wish I could say I would carry the torch but alas I too am just so overwhelmed. I’ve missed quite a few TT lately but have always enjoyed participating and seeing all of them.
