Snuggling with Kitty in a chair, and…
Snuggling with Grandma on the couch.

This week we had some visitors. I was very happy that my cousin Joe and his family were able to stop at our house on their way back home to Houston. My cousin John (his brother) was dropping them off at the airport, so they stopped here for some conversation before they got on the plane. We live about 2 hours from my home town where most of our family is located, so occassionally they come here to go to the airport. Most of the time they don’t stop in the rush of getting to the airport, but this time they made a point to come and see us. It was so nice to visit with them. Did I get any pictures? No, I just wanted to sit and talk and not pick up the camera. I made some food (meatballs in a balsamic tomato sauce and chicken satay) and we had some wine. It was a nice relaxing afternoon visiting with family we do not get to see often enough. I do wish I would have gotten some photos, but another time perhaps.

What togetherness do you have to share today?
Great shots – I really love the one of Kai and Grandma — priceless!
I have some friend togetherness this week….

Kai has his Grandma’s smile. Great shots. I found one of the baby snuggling with my sisters dog.
I loved the theme for today and had some ideas that I never did get to capture in these hectic times.
Sounds like a great time with you family. We have a similar situation, we live never an airport but away from the family. I always give everyone a hard time for not stopping by, that’s just because I miss them.

Happy Thursday!
i’m off on vacation, but here’s my “togetherness” shot…

I love being able to sit and visit, but than too wish I could of captured a moment or two.
Pic’s are nice, but nobody can steal those memories from you:o) Kai looks really happy with Grandma:So not a kitty person wish the focus was on Anya:o) Sorry kitty:o(
My togetherness is between me and my LOOOOONG to-do list. *Sigh* Too many things to make, decorate, bake and organize. To make up for it, I am trying to squeeze in as many extra hugs, kisses and snuggles as I can with my kids. I don’t want them to think that the holidays mean that Mommy forgets about them!
Did Anya “wrap” the kitty in the blanket?? Addie loves to do that to our cat, too! I need to take more photos of it, because it is kinda funny, and my kitties are virtually ignored by the camera now that the girls are here!
Love the shots. You get such crisp, clear gorgeous shots. Every time!
I have some togetherness over at our place too – http://barelycontrolledchaos.wordpress.com/2008/12/04/together-theme-thursday/
I love the photo with the cat. I’ve missed taking pictures the last few weeks since we got back from Hendersonville. There we so much to take photos of there.
Plus PMS time is never good picture taking time, is it??

Those make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside! We got in some good snuggles last week, too.
Sometimes I force myself to put my camera down so that I can just savor the moment. I get so caught up in capturing things that I find that I’m not enjoying the moment. It’s hard to do though!
Love the shot with grandma. I have not taken a shot like that in a long time. I will soon. But I so love the focus on kitty in the top shot.
We have lots of togetherness planned this weekend. So many fun things planned, holiday things. And it looks like we have more holiday weather too. At least S. Texas holiday weather.
I love the kitty shot and the shot with grandma. She looks so happy to be snuggling. Here’s my little bit of togetherness:

You are so fortunate to have family stop in and out like that. Most of my family lives on the east coast so we only get ot see them if we go out there. Great pictures. I can see alot of Grandma in Kailan.
Im a little late today, but here’s Our togetherness.
Both of those pics are great! Love the dof with kitty, and there sure is a family resemblace between Grandma and Kai.
I didn’t have it TOGETHER enough to get anything posted for today’s theme!
I absolutely ADORE that kitty shot. We had to put ours down after 14 years this week and I’m SO not over it/handling it well. Oy. Lovely shots Stacy.
Here is my togetherness picture and it is my 300th post on my blog. http://girlsinthegarden.blogspot.com/2008/12/togetherness-and-my-300th-post.html
Chicken satay? Balsamic tomato sauce and meatballs? Yes, please.
My darling husband and I had lots of time to catch up on our days this evening…before the whirlwind of dinner making and computers finally got in our way!
We celebrated our ninth anniversary today! I was trying to publish my post last night but my internet service went down and didn’t come back until this evening. Then of course, Survivor and CSI took priority. So here is my post (I forgot to link to you this week – my way-bad). Love the top photo with your kitty. (I also drove my camera to the shop today. cross your fingers…)
Without further ado – http://justaddcolor.blogspot.com/2008/12/togetherness-nine-years-ago-today.html
I’m so bad about taking pictures when we have get togethers! Oh well, at least we get to relax and enjoy people!
LOVE that picture of Kai and Grandma….it is perfection!
Kai looks just like his grandma! What precious pics!
