Well last week was my first week back to work and Anya’s first week in daycare. She still wasn’t taking bottles very well, so it has been trying. I have been going to the daycare at noon and nursing her so she has at least one good feeding a day. It has been a struggle – she’s a stubborn one! Last weekend the kids spent some time up in Cumberland with the Kraft clan and Anya was not liking the bottles. She was a bit hungry and a little dehydrated when we picked her up. We were hoping that with no choice she would decide to take the bottles, but she is a stubborn one. Hopefully she will get it figured out soon. Meanwhile my lunch hour is spent at daycare, but it is really nice to see my little sweetie. I don’t dare pop in to see Kai, since I know he would probably throw a fit if I showed up and just left him there. It is hard enough in the mornings to get out of daycare.

We had a nice dinner on Saturday night with the Millers and Durbins. It was nice to have adult only time, but we sure worked hard to get everything ready by the time we dropped off the kids, got the groceries, cleaned and cooked we were ready for a rest! At least I got to have a few glasses of wine since there was no baby to feed.
