{"id":43,"date":"2006-03-03T19:11:31","date_gmt":"2006-03-04T03:11:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thelandofka.com\/?p=43"},"modified":"2006-03-03T19:11:31","modified_gmt":"2006-03-04T03:11:31","slug":"grandma","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thelandofka.com\/?p=43","title":{"rendered":"Grandma"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><font size=\"3\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\">As most everyone knows, we have had sadness in our house.\u00a0 Yesterday, Grandma Lillian passed from this world to the next.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><font size=\"3\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\">Lord, take her into your embrace and light, unencumbered by the ills of her body.<br \/>\n<\/font><\/font><font size=\"3\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\">She was well-loved in this life, let her light shine from above now.<br \/>\n<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"112\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/the-kraft-family.com\/v-web\/gallery\/albums\/web\/Angel01j.gif?resize=57%2C112\" width=\"57\" \/><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"3\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\">My Grandma Lillian had been battling a heart condition, diabetes, and as of last year, cancer.\u00a0 Every year for the past 5 years there has been a time when we were worried that she would be leaving us.\u00a0 Once the cancer was detected she was given a limited time.\u00a0 They couldn&#8217;t treat it, since her heart couldn&#8217;t handle the strain.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"3\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\">Her birthday was last week, so she made it past the times when everyone thought she would go.\u00a0 At first the docs said she wouldn\u2019t make it past the 1<sup>st<\/sup> of the year, and then it was that she probably wouldn\u2019t see her birthday.\u00a0 That\u2019s just the type of stubborn lady my Grandma was ;\u2019-)<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font face=\"Times New Roman\" size=\"3\">We have been waiting for this to happen, but it is still hard.\u00a0 My Dad was her youngest (surviving) child, I was her youngest grandchild, and Kailan and Anya were her youngest great-grandbabies.<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"3\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\">She is survived by:<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"3\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\">5 Children<br \/>\n<\/font><\/font><font size=\"3\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\">15 Grandchildren<br \/>\n<\/font><\/font><font size=\"3\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\">26 Great-grandchildren<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: black; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA\">Her life was full.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As most everyone knows, we have had sadness in our house.\u00a0 Yesterday, Grandma Lillian passed from this world to the next.
