In the rough and tumble toddler world, it is very important to have someone on your side.\u00a0 Someone to fight for you when another toddler takes your toy away, and someone to watch your favorite toys when you aren\u2019t there.\u00a0 It\u2019s a dog eat dog world in the Two\u2019s Room.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Kailan has Avery, and Avery has Kailan.\u00a0 They have been together at daycare since they were just little beans and were born a month apart (Avery is younger).\u00a0 They are pretty much inseparable.\u00a0 Here are some examples of how they take care of each other:<\/font><\/font> <\/font><\/p>\n

\u2014<\/font>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Avery has a little \u201cbaby\u201d that she plays with at daycare.\u00a0 She usually leaves at night before Kailan, and she will give her \u201cbaby\u201d to him to watch for her.\u00a0 That is his job, and she won\u2019t leave until Kailan takes up his responsibility.<\/font><\/span><\/font> <\/font><\/p>\n

\u2014<\/font>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Their room has a bunch of plastic animals, with a few elephants, which are Kailan’s favorite animal.\u00a0 The elephants all belong to Kailan, and no one else is allowed to play with them.\u00a0 If Avery sees someone playing with one of Kailan\u2019s elephants she will take it from them.\u00a0 They belong to Kai.<\/font><\/span><\/font> <\/font><\/p>\n

\u2014<\/font>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The other day they were playing with hats, putting them on and off.\u00a0 Another kid took Avery\u2019s hat.\u00a0 Kailan went up to that kid and took it back from him.\u00a0 That belonged to Avery.<\/font><\/span><\/font> <\/font><\/p>\n

\u2014<\/font>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 If Kai is not paying attention\/listening, Avery will call him by his full name, saying \u201cKailan Kraft!\u201d\u00a0 They are just like an old married couple! <\/font><\/span><\/font>Here is Kailan\u2019s class picture, and Avery is the cute blonde standing right behind him:<\/font><\/p>\n
