I have a four and a half year old and a three year old. How did that happen?? It seems like just yesterday that they were babies. Now they are walking, talking, opinionated little people. Although Anya is going through that angst ridden three year old stage, Kailan is really coming into his own.
He still has a bit of a whining problem that we are working on with him, but it has gotten better. He used to throw these massive temper tantrums, so really, we are so glad he got got older and grew out of them. He still gives us a taste of them, now and again, though.
He has hit a milestone of childhood recently. Coloring (mostly) between the lines. A momentous occassion, for certain. 😉 Now he can’t get enough of drawing. So fun to see him excited about doing something other than watching TV. Of course, he loves the superheros best.
If he goes too far in his playing and hurts his sister, he usually says he is sorry before we even have to tell him. He’s a bit of a goofball and thinks the oddest things are just hilarious. He is our sweet little boy…most of the time. 😉
Using a little mirror as a pretend phone. Goofball, I tell ya.
What did everyone else come up with for TIME today? 🙂
He is such a cutie. Love those bright blue eyes.
Mine is here… http://stacymaephotography.blogspot.com/2008/06/thursday-theme-time.html
🙂 he’s adorable! Our little man uses EVERYTHING as a cell phone LOL and/or a camera – I just love your pictures…and wow coloring in the lines, that’s awesome!!! Zachary still does not do that! 🙂
My time this week is kinda sad – http://fingerstotoes.com/time/

I know I know mom’s love to talk about how the time flies by and it does, it truly does. I can’t agree with you more, when suddenly the little ones have turned into little personalities and start expressing their own individuality it is an amazing time.
I took a slightly different approach to this post and talked about my camera choice right now. But then I couldn’t resist the cactus blooms for a picture. 🙂

Isn’t he just the cutie in these photos???t
Here is my take on time > 🙂
How are you getting rid of the whining? My God, the whining!! But in these photos I can hardly believe he is whiny at all – those are some gorgeous, smiling shots of Kai!
My take on time is up, too. Slowly getting back to posting some stuff this week. 🙂
What a great set of pictures! He is so handsome! Oh the whining…I hear ya!
Here’s mine (anyone ever have a problem with a random second heading showing up on their blogger template? I did last night!

He’s such a cutie. Those milestones are bitter sweet. My 3 year old is a super colorer and I am amazed. Here’s my take:

Isn’t it amazing how quickly these kids grow? He must be very proud of himself, and I’m sure his mother is, too!
Here is my ‘time’ post.
He certainly is growing more handsome each day. Really, you’ll have to fight the girls off come the teen years, but let’s slow down and not talk about that! 🙂
Perfect portraits of K.
Well, it would be wise to post the link to my time photo, huh? Here it is

Great images. It is an amazing thing watching children grow. I love the great smile you caught with him on the “phone”.
Here’s my add:

Aww, that’s so bittersweet! Time is killing me these days!
Here’s my take on time
I love that he is talking to a mirror. Anything can pose as a phone. Here’s mine:

Man what a cutie. His smile is so contagious!
Ahh yes. Time just keeps marching on. I don’t know how the heck it happened that mine is 2 1/2. I hear ya on the whining, too. Love the mirror-as-phone…very familiar!
I’ve been so lazy…no TT again this week…I just don’t have the brain power.
He’s got the cutest smile, Stacy! Love that gleeful grin in that second pic!
I have a million thoughts of what would make a great Theme post for Time, but too little time…sigh…
He gets more handsome all the time! What a great smile he has.
Mine is up, but it’s not nearly as great as the rest of them!

I have been wondering the very same thing in my last several posts…where did these years go??? How is it that my daughter can be 19? I remember thinking the same thing when she was 3 and 4…your babies are learning to be such great PEOPLE! I always love what you have to say about them…how they are becoming who they are…in little ways each day. Your boy is so handsome, and he will continue to be more and more of an individual more and more with little treasure of himself being revealed to you each and every day! What a GREAT smile.
My post is quite somber, but it timely!

Fantastic photos Stacy! What a cute little guy!! Hmm… I’m so behind today and didn’t get a chance to post a dedicated post for today’s theme… but yesterday’s post seems to fit the bill.

Sigh… they do grow up so quickly. I wish time would stand still sometimes..
Thanks again Stacy for all your lovely comments! Much appreciated!
Love these time photos, what a sweet, sweet smile you captured in #2! And he’s got that cell-phone body language down pat, doesn’t he!
I know exactly where you’re coming from. With Lauren turning 5 this week, I’ve been wondering where those five years have gone.
such a cutie! My take on this weeks theme can be found here http://www.jabberingjaime.blogspot.com
