I don’t know about you guys, but being first is of the UTMOST IMPORTANCE in our household. Example…
K: “I was a baby first”
A: “No, I was first”
K: “I WAS!”
A: “I WAS!”
K: Mommy, did you pick me first because I was REALLY CUTE?” Visualize a very earnest expression and cute blue eyes looking at you while you ponder the question.
Yes…oh, how we laughed at that!
I assured him that INDEED, I did pick him first because he was cute. Of course, Anya asked about herself, and I told them that they were both so cute I had a hard time deciding who got to be a baby first. 🙂

Yes, we have this conversation frequently. Harper always wants to be first. Harper always wants to know why someone is older than her too. She just can’t comprehend that whole thing. I love that K thought you made the decision to have him first.

That is so funny. Sounds like our house, my eldest is talking about that mom and dad’s dream came true about having 3 boys and that it came true. It’s been a fun conversation to have a couple of times a day and he keeps adding to it.
That is too funny…We don’t have that issue here yet, but Caden tries to steal every toy Cole has…he’s super jealous right now!
Maybe there is an upside to a only child????? I won’t have to deal with that argument….LOL

Umm… not sure where Mr. Daddy got that. I think he’s forgetting that Itty Bit DOES have two older siblings??? LOL
He sure is happy to remind me of it every time I ask for another, haha.
My sis and I did the whole “first” thing forever… and she turned out cuter and popular and artsy and all that. So I guess it doesn’t mean as much when you hit 30 and realize that “first” just plain means older!

LOL….my little guy talks about pets we had before he was born as puppies and kitties. Of course he wasn’t around yet but can’t bear not to be a part of those memories too!!
