Here it is!
I made it a 5×7 card and ordered it through Mpix. The graphics are free downloads from shabbyprincess.com. I think it turned out pretty well, and the kids were good sports…mostly. The whole “wait to eat the cookies and look longingly at them” was a bit much for them, though. They could handle the eating the cookies part pretty well, though. 🙂
Last year I added gloss to the card, too, and it was a bit much. This year was no gloss and I like it much better. It just took FOREVER to download the Mpix ordering program for their press printed products. They need to make that a bit better.
This is going to be my Tuesday craftiness, since I am still working on the Christmas gift outfit. I haven’t got all the cards out yet, but they are on their way! After the outfit for Renae’s son, then I need to make some outfits for my kids. ACK! I need to get on it, don’t I?? There are holiday parties a comin’! Specifically, a holiday concert for daycare next week in which my children must be fabulously dressed since all they will probably do is stand up in front of everyone like a deer caught in the headlights. If last year is any illustration of things to come, that is. 😉
I LOVE IT! How incredibly creative. I love the press printed paper. If you ever get the time, I want to see the pictures close up.
I love it too! That is such a cute idea! Stealing this once Zane’s older!!!
Thanks ladies! I will be sure to post the pictures by themselves at some point. The kids were good sports overall. I mean how can you so no to freshly baked chocolate chip cookies?? 🙂
Those are absolutely adorable. Great idea.
So beautiful! I’m just hoping to get them in the same frame. And no, the photo isn’t even taken yet, eeek!
I LOVE it. I’m getting one, right? 😉
Your card looks great. I’ve never heard of Mpix before, I’ll have to check it out. I ordered some custom cards through shutterfly this year and they turned out pretty nice too. 🙂
What a FUN card!!!!
Your kids are adorable 🙂
Beth
You are so clever! This is just precious. 🙂
You’ve inspired me to press on with our Christmas card photo session.
Just read your comment about my random facts and had to come back.
I have a goofy daisy that I got in college and I have a lotus with my girls’ name in Thai on my lower back. That one I love. I can totally imagine you with a dragon. And I think it should definitely be on your list of to dos. You are not to old.
How fun an cheerful and very original! I love it Stacy! I knew your card would be awesome, but you exceeded my expectations. Such a creative idea, and I can’t believe the kids cooperated that well.
That might be the best Christmas card I’ve ever seen !! I love it ! You are a creative genius !!
SO cute! Ok, I don’t hate you, but I am very, very jealous that they are done and out…
*sigh* – back to work on mine.
That turned out adorable! I love the wording – as others said – so creative!
That’s great! What a terrific idea. I’m also jealous that you are already done with yours!
What a great card! He has such a mischievious expression in the last photo.
