Theme Thursday – Pure

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!

Had I an ounce of forethought, I would have made this theme Thursday have something to do with love.  Alas, I was brain dead last Saturday, so that opportunity slipped right by me.  If you want to see some love related stuff, you can take a gander at the Valentines book I made for my hubby last year.  It was a nice red leather one I got made at Shutterfly.  I did it with digital scrapbooking graphics that I found at shabbyprincess.com.  This year, I am less than prepared for V-day.  Much, much less prepared.  After almost 10 years of marriage and 12 years together, we don’t take V-day as seriously as we should.  It’s a good excuse to get romantic and we really need all the excuses we can muster these days.  ;)

Here is my interpretation of pure.  This is definitely tangible evidence of our love.  Our little sweetie.

 pure sunshine

The SOOC picture here was less than stellar, but I love her laughter that I captured.  I had to do something with it, so I subjected it to several layers of papers and embellishments.

The purity in children’s faces when they give a good belly laugh is truly wonderful.  To me, it’s pure sunshine.

What wonderfulness do you have in store for today?

Beautiful. I skipped again this week, since I couldn’t think of anything with the pure theme. Though if you want to see some Valentine’s flowers, I put them up on my site for today.

Valentines isn’t a big deal here either … We just had our 10th Anniversary this year … and we’ve been together 15 years !!!! Don’t know where the time goes … We tend to celebrate Anniversaries more than Valentines.

A child’s laughter rings so beautifully and honestly I can’t blame you at all for collaging the cute picture. She looks like she’s having so much fun. :)

I took a slightly different route for purity.

Oh, she is precious! Today has actually not gone that well, but her laughter brings a smile to my face. :) I love what you did with it – you are GOOD with the embellishments

And I love the book you made last year. AWWW!

Better late, than never! Here is my lame attempt for this week. Lovley photo of the princess. I REALLY need to learn how to add textures and other such fascinating things, because MOST of my photos are less than stellar. LOL. Thanks for allowing me to play along again. Happy Valentine’s Day! :)
