When we were looking for houses to buy in this area, we really wanted one with a good backyard. Luckily we found one! We have a huge mostly flat useable yard for being in the suburbs. It’s all of .41 acres, which new homes are being built on 1/3 to 1/4 acre with at least an extra 1,000 sq feet. Plus, according to one of our friend’s kid, we have a playground in the backyard. Yay for our kids! 🙂
Hmmm…those balls are almost buried in the grass. Methinks we’ve had a lot of rain!
A nice sunset view…if it weren’t for those ick lines. Oh well, we can’t have it all. 😉
What childhood moments does everyone have to share today?
Love the one of your cuties chasing each other – so fun and full of laughter… The sunset is beautiful.

Just found your blog. 🙂 you have some lovely photos here. 🙂 I love photos that capture true childhood. nice. 🙂
How’re you feeling now? Your photos of your kids playing in that massive, beautiful backyard certainly lifts my spirits!
Childhood is being able to get away with wearing something like this! (I soooo want one for myself!)

Love the yard, I can’t wait to find a house with a good size yard. You are so right about new construction and their tiny yards.
Yes indeed! Backyards are a boon. I’ve taken a trip back in time (and photo quality) for this week’s theme.

You DO have a beautiful yard–I think your kids are pretty lucky!
We did the opposite; instead of frolicking in the lawn, we went to the park
Ooops! I don’t know that the link will be seen easily. Here it is:

We have just over half an acre and our yard backs up to a state park. So we have lots of room for those moments of childhood. My Childhood link is up. Hope you are feeling better.
That last shot is so great!
I picked pictures that had to do with my own childhood moments today. We are spending time at the shore with my parents and we went to the boardwalk last night. I have so many wonderful memories growing up and one of my favorite things to do was go to the boardwalk. I snapped some pics of signs I liked.

I love the first one where they are running through the yard. I hope you are feeling better.

I know I have said it many times before, but I’ll say it again: I am jealous of your yard! Such a great place for the kiddos. Each of these photos is lovely, but I really love Anya’s purse in the second one – because it makes me think of my own girl!!

Stacy these are gorgeous!! And you do have a gorgeous backyard too! I love the one of the kids rolling around in the grass! I’m looking forward to those moments when my boys are older. And, by the way, thanks so much for your encouragement this morning on my feeding saga…I needed that!
I love the first image of the kids running. It is so playful and they look like they are having so much fun.
I am going to have to join this Theme Thursday one of these days!
These are pretty – you do have a lovely backyard!
OK, I’m back and I’m in this week!

Those are fantastic shots again Stacy. I love love love how your colors always pop. I must play this next week (if the theme isn’t too hard for my non-creative self that is)! 🙂
Childhood is not having to do a damn rummage and instead run through the sprinklers in your underwear.
Those pictures were brilliant.
Those pictures were wonderful. Thanks for sharing.
i love the backyard photos. we had a dog that would climb out slide to see out over the neighborhood. she was the funniest thing perched up there on that slide. i remember that like it was yesterday.
