Oh, Hiiiii…..
Another holiday season has passed, along with all the busy times that it entails. I still have to go through all of my holiday pictures, and I didn’t get time to do my usual sew-a-thon over the holidays. Well, I could have sewed more, but I decided to read a few new books on my Nook. I am just fine with being lazy and reading. 🙂
Last year was a pretty good year for us around here.
Kai and Anya were busy with their respective sports…
We went on a vacation to Washington state and both Brian and I went on trips to Vegas with our friends…
We spent several Sunday afternoons at the beach with our friends…
We finally got our horrible driveway replaced…
I took the kids and us out to get pictures several times this year…
We also went on several excursions this year…
- Visited a cave tour that we had gone past so many times before
- Spent the day at the horse races with the kids
- Had a fun overnight excursion with our friends at a local waterpark
- Many other lovely times with family and friends over the year…
- Oh, and I sewed a lot of stuff, too. 🙂
I have spent part of my holiday vacation working on our Blurb book for 2012. I have about 5 months left and am already over 100 pages. Apparently we were busy in 2012! I find that I need to work on that book in spurts. If I try to do it all at once, I get sloppy and the pictures end up showing that. I don’t spend time picking the best ones or processing them so they look their best. My goal is to get that done by the end of January, while the holidays and happenings are still fresh in my mind. Thank goodness for the blog. I already have most of the year journaled!
Here’s hoping that next year will be another one filled with lots of fun times!
Happy New Year to you and your family, Stacy!!!
I’ve never heard of Crystal cave before it looks awesome!
happy 2013 !
Hi Stacy! Long time no read :-(…sorry…I intend to get back to blogging in 2013 as it is an excellent record of life and much better way of keeping up with people than facebook! I take my hat off to you doing a blurb book. I find I do these types of projects in fits and bursts and often don’t finish :-(. Which reminds me, I must get back to Mrs TiggyWinkle. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
