Only a parent with a toddler would get excited about poop.  When your life revolves around changing two pairs of poopy and/or wet diapers during the day, you wait for the moment that they are ready to stop pooping in their drawers.  We always know when Kai is pooping, since he gets this far away look in his eyes, his face get really red and he grunts.

Mommy:  “Are you poopin’ Kai?”

Kai: (grunt) Yep! (grunt)

Kai actually did “the deed” in his potty tonight for the first time.  YAY…one step closer to diaper emancipation!  I could tell that he was getting ready to go, since he was in the tub.  I could smell a faint odour and saw some bubbles.  It was impending.  I took him out of the bath quick and let him try on the potty.  He actually did it!

Of course he received a prize…an Elmo sticker.  He was pretty darn happy with that sticker, but not as happy as mommy and daddy.
