I haven’t done a fairy composite picture in awhile, so when I got some fun tutu pictures I figured they would work well! The background is from our vacation when we went to Muir Woods. You can find about how to do this here.

So pretty!!!
I had someone do this kindof a picture for me with my boys on a trian. It turned out really fun!
I seriously love your fairy composites. This one is may be my favorite so far.
What a great composition. I love how the tree just towers over her and she looks like a petite little fairy. The lighting on her is great too.
You are so good at this, Stacy – your cute little fairy is too sweet for words!
This is positively magical Stacy! Wow!
That is fantastic Stacy. If I attempted that, well, it would suck a duck. You make it look so magical and natural.
Isn’t Muir fascinating? No shot can ever really capture the enormous height of those trees.
Oh, that is by far the best fairy you have done! A true framer!!
Thanks ladies! I really like doing these composites. It’s so fun to create a magical image. 🙂
So GORGEOUS! Thanks so much for link to all the info.
That’s lovely! I love the forest and the fairy look. I’ll have to check out the link this looks like a wonderful idea. Although, I’m minus a cute girl like yours. 🙂 My teenager in wings is an idea that makes me laugh, horns might be better suited. LOL
That’s fantastic! I really love that and now clearly must learn to do it.
Oh, it’s just perfect. Love those wings. Are those hers or are they photoshopped?
Thanks again everyone.
Melody, those are photoshopped wings using a brush. I made two wings and used the transform tool to move them around so they looked sorta natural looking. I think it would look better if they were multicolored but you can’t do that with just a brush. You can take real wings from a picture of a butterfly, cut them out and use those as wings, too. They look better that way, I think.
My daughter is so into fairies right now. She would freak out if I did one for her, but I am sure it would never come out as beautiful as yours. It is so magical.
So full of whimsy! And magical.
wow! So magical and lovely! I love the sparkles and she really does look like a little fairy in a magical forest!
oops….linked back to you….try this one! : )
Totally not realated but i was wondering if you could some day when you have time….so like 2009….. could you show or explain the fastish and super cool up hair dos i use to see you in. my hair is getting super long and i would love some fresh ideas on how to get it off my neck. my hair is like ann inch below my boobs and starting to get to heavy/long for a simple pony tail.
Thanks,
~Brooke
ps. you totally rock and yeah no need to rush on this one. i’ve been growing my hair out for over two years now and it isn’t going anywhere soon.
LOVE this…love the sparkles too! So perfect!
Wow! Incredible Stacy! Okay, one reason I miss not having a little girl. Harrison will NOT be wearing a tutu anytime soon, I can guarantee that!
Seriously!!! Amazing!!! Makes me want a little girl…I feel like I say that a lot on your blog!
wow Stacy, every time I come over here I am stunned by what I find. This is amazing. It would fool Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
Truly Magical!
