Theme Thursday – WONDER
****
…summertime that is. It seems everyone is preparing for school to begin, if it hasn’t already. The summer for us didn’t really start until late June, when we finally felt the warmth in our bones. This past week has been particularly mild, so the dog days of summer are just a wispy dream. I feel Fall in the air. I hope it won’t come to us too soon.
No tip for today. Just enjoy your dwindling summer days, and see if you can capture some WONDER as you child explores their surroundings before it is covered in white (at least for us). I know it will happen far too soon.
I love the big beautiful Dahlia blooms that are the harbingers of the end of summer
Stacy, your summer sounds just like mine. It didn’t get warm until July and now it is getting down to 60 at night. Not too good for keeping the swimming pool warm. This weekend my family is moving our oldest two daughters to college, so it really is the end of summer.
The picture of the dahlia is gorgeous, when I grow up I want to take pictures like you!!
Pretty flower!
I missed last week. sigh. I wanted to do the antique one, too! Hopefully this week will allow for my participation! 🙂
Happy Weekend!!
There is something about the end of summer…
This dahlia is beautiful. I love saying that word.
Dahlia.
Dahlia.
Dahlia.
Okay, I’m done now.
I love Dahlias. Great shot. I can feel the summer slipping away too. Im trying to enjoy the final weeks as much as possible.
What a gorgeous flower and stunning photo! Wonder… I’m going to have to keep that in mind for Thursday! I’m terrible at remembering!
Lovely lovely dahlia. 🙂
Well my kids have already started school, so summer is just about over. Once county fair ends next week I consider it gone gone gone.
Ah…that right there is the perfect shot. REALLY. The exposure, the bokeh – everything.
Again, I would like these in my yard! Gorgeous! And I’m sad too that summer’s slipping away.
Love this one Stacy.

That dahlia looks huge! And oh so beautiful and vibrant.
Wonder – this will be a fun one…if I get my act together for once. 😉
A beautiful picture.
