We always seem to have a good time at the Renaissance Festival.  I know I am probably biased, but I think our local one is pretty dang cool.  It has a fantastic location where the vendors build their own shops and there are old trees in the midst.

Our kids have a really good time.  Probably because they are fairly dressed up, and the actors interact with them more because they are part of the “scene”.

Overall it is a pretty fun way to spend a fall day!

If it weren’t for the rain that started up around 5pm, it would have been more fun.  The kids (mostly Anya) were sure they were going to melt.  It wasn’t raining that hard!
