I had been hoping to get our family pictures done earlier this year, but we had a pretty busy Summer and Fall. The end result is that we took these pictures in between the rain clouds on a pretty chilly day today.
Anya was not a happy camper in being cold, but we ended up getting some decent shots for our pictures this year. We took them at a park that is made up like an old Minnesota town. It is along the Minnesota River, so we got some cool old buildings and some woods.
I used my tripod and my Nikon D50 with a wireless remote. My old Nikon is getting a bit pixelated these days. Not sure how much longer it is going to be producing print worthy pictures. These turned out pretty good, but I can’t blow them up too big.
You found a great location. I recognized the flamingo dress. It looks like your kids get along really well.
I really need to get around to taking a photo of my kids for a Christmas card photo.
Those turned out really wonderful! I love that you waited and got such beautiful backgrounds and colors!
And thoroughly impressed that you got everyone smiling at the same time… we usually have at least one blinker or smirker 🙂
it’s been a while since i stopped by … i can’t believe how big your kids have gotten! sheesh, they grow quick, eh!?
great pictures!!
Those are awesome! Your family looks so happy and the location is beautiful. Thanks for sharing!
