So over lunch I decided to stop into our local mall (Brian is cringing as he reads this). I was in need of overpriced hair care products, so I of course had to do some window shopping. I had heard from some of my message board friends that Baby Gap had some cute jeans. They must have different merchandise in their Baby Gap stores.
I browsed through the selection of girl and boy clothes only to find this for $35 for a little boy that will grow out of it in 4 months:
Now, maybe it’s just me, but I usually don’t like to spend that much money on a pair of jeans that look like they have been run over by an 18-wheeler right after being ripped apart by a pack of wild dogs and then patched up by a blind lady.
But…I’m strange that way.
I just prefer my children to look like they haven’t been begging for food on the street corner in the pouring rain and then going back to their cardboard box while they sleep on the cold cement in the alley.
But…that’s just me.
I guess I’m not “fashion forward” enough to want to dress my kids in clothes that should be thrown away instead of being sold for wayyyyy too much money.
Of course the price doesn’t compare to these jeans which I can buy for the low, low price of $92. I can’t believe people buy this crap!
Oh, and Brian…I didn’t buy anything.
