The cat has claimed it…
Anya wanted a floor pouf like the ones I had made before, and I told her she had to wait until I had enough fabric scraps to fill it. Well, I had more than enough fabric scraps, but at least I finally got it done! The only issue I had with making this one, is that the decorator fabric was a bit thin. I didn’t consider that all those dark colored scraps would show through. I had to pick through the scraps and put the lighter ones on the outside and the darker ones on the interior.
I’m pretty sure the kids and the cat would not have noticed.
A little tidbit about this corner of the library…
Last Christmas (as in 2012, not 2013), I got a Silhouette. It sat…in it’s box…in the corner of the library, for about 9 months. The kids also got a laptop that Christmas to share betwixt them. They are not allowed to bring it into their room, so they used my Silhouette box as a little table. It is just the right height for them to sit in front of it, and have the mouse next to it.
The Silhouette has a new home, OUT of the box, but still…there the box sits.
Perhaps we should get them a real table, but this is just oh, so much cheaper. 🙂
