I am tired, tired, tired of this winter.  Along with everyone else, I am sure!  We are going into negative digits again this week, and this is after a horrible snowstorm last week that has rendered our roads full of icy snow.  It’s just lovely driving on it.

Did our superintendent cancel school?  Nope!  He cancelled it 4 times in January, because it was a bit cold.  We are cold weather state!  Bundle up!  He just couldn’t cancel school this time, though.  Just about every district around us had cancelled, and the DOT said to stay home and off the roads.  I was not happy that it was just a 2 hour delay, as the roads were awful.

At least the snow is pretty.  I am sure we will have it for another two months.

Poor Brian has been shoveling, shoveling, shoveling.  I did our walkway earlier in the week, but that darn disk in my back made me pay for it the next two days.   Wish I could help him more.  He was very tired and sore when he was done shoveling out the 9″ of wet heavy snow, and there were some 4′ drifts.

Maybe next Fall we will be looking at snowblowers?  The last few winters have been very snowy.  The two winters before we had hardly any snow.  You can never tell what you are going to get, so he has held off on buying one of them.  I think it is time, though.  Our bodies are not as young as they used to be!
