It was time for our annual family pictures. This time we got all dressed up smartly, and drove downtown to the government center. Anya’s outfit is the one I made her from Stylo, I made my skirt and shirt and Kai’s tie (though, it was pretty short now and we needed to keep it tucked into his coat!).
When I took Anya for pictures here for Stylo, it was pretty deserted. No one is at the government center on a Sunday morning, as I am sure you can imagine.
This time, there were more people, as they were boarding the light rail for the football game. Still no one was really at the area we were in. However, a few things were not all that fantastic. My remote was not working for some reason. I purchased a new remote for my big camera, and it didn’t work! It worked the night before, so I am not sure what was going on. I might have had to change the channel on it. Too many signals in the area perhaps. So…we were using the timer. That did not make for many photos. Only so many times I am willing to run back and forth.
It was also windy. Note to next year. If it is windy…hair should not be down. I spent a lot of time trying to keep my hair out of my eyes, my mouth, etc.
Still, we got a few keepers…
I LOVE that last photo. Your kids are adorable!
I am planning on trying to get ours tomorrow if it isn’t raining.
Wish us luck!
Thanks so much, Michelle! I hope your pictures went well. 🙂
I’d say you got some great ones! (I don’t remember seeing that sculpture there, which goes to show that there are so many things to see downtown)
Thanks Rachel! That was in the plaza, but we were more focused on the fountain. The fountain had been drained for winter when we went down there. 🙁
love. you have such a good-looking family!
Thanks, Tasha! 🙂
