On the 4th of July weekend, we went up a little early to our friend’s cabin in the great northwoods.  Our friend had his big fishing boat that he usually docks on Lake Michigan for serious fishing (a.k.a. Salmon).  Luckily we had use of his boat for tubing and going on the lake to watch fireworks on the 3rd.  I will get through the tubing pictures eventually, but here are the pictures I took on the lake for the explosions.

It may be hard to tell but all of these lights are from boat lights.  It was real perty.  And there were a lot of boats.

After a bit – and several boats shooting off their horns in impatience – the fireworks began…
