We had another fun-filled weekend of adult-only time hitting the Renaissance Festival here with our friends, Dean and Kris.  The Feast of Fantasy was a good time and Brian got me drunk enough to agree to buy another sword.

It’s a beauty.  A one of a kind piece of artwork that can also skewer a home invader.  Of course it is in the library, so if they came in the middle of the night we would be screwed (except of course for the shotgun in the bedroom)…and you know what they say about bringing a knife to a gun fight.  Hey, it’s cool…that’s all it needs to be right now!  I’ll take a picture and post it once we get it home.  The artist is making a wall mount hanger for us and it will be done in a few weeks time.

Yep, we will be the cool house on the block.  Other kids may have an Xbox, but we have swords!
