Well, fall is starting to show it’s nasty little face.  Last week we had the never ending rain, so many a day with a gloomy sky and attitude.  This weekend we had some great weather so I took the kids outside to play and got some good shots of them.  They were playing so well together, too.  We happened across a little tree frog basking in the sun on a dalia and the kids got a kick out of that.  Anya was a bit scared when it started to move, but became fascinated by it fairly quickly thereafter.

I remember collecting frogs and snakes as a kid, since there was an overabundance of them on the farm.  I doubt the kids will have quite so many to chose from here in the city.  Hopefully we can find a good spot for them in the marshes by us that are good for collecting reptiles and worms.  That is a very important part of childhood, don’t ya know?
