Toddlerdum is the realm in which your beloved little angel child can turn into the devil spawn in 2.4 seconds.  It is a land of transformation.  Somehow your sweet child that nary a cry would be emitted from her lips suddenly turns on you.  She becomes this writhing, eardrum-shattering shrieking Siren that you have no control over.

We were very much hoping that Kailan was just the odd child.  He would throw himself on the ground at a moments notice and rant and wail for no apparent reason other than air had touched his skin.  Surely he was just an anomaly?  Other children didn’t truly believe that air was such a monstrosity that they must torture their parents with never-ending tantrums??

Alas, we were mistaken YET AGAIN.  Anya has become a toddler.  It happened over night, it seems.  Last week as I was bringing her home from daycare I was submitted to the never-ending tantrum for NO APPARENT REASON.  I think my skull is permanently cracked from the high pitched shrieking with which I was confronted.

In the end, since nothing would comfort our child, I decided to just take pictures.  That didn’t help. 😉
