I had a better idea to suit the theme this week, but my execution was a dismal failure. Perhaps I will actually find some time for it in the future. Instead of I have these lovely shots that I created (see…within the theme! 😉 ) of our little princess. I just love her pretty, pretty hair. It reminds me of sunshine. Unfortunately it is getting a bit hard to handle these days. I think its length plus the chlorine in the swimming pool is wreaking havoc upon it. Now we need to put some of mommy’s conditioner in it so I can comb through it, but it still gets a few snarly knots. She has yet to have a scissors touch her hair, so most likely I will have to give her a trim soon anyways. I don’t trust those kid salons with her hair.
I love these shots, which I shared a few yesterday. When she wanted to go out swinging as the sun was setting, I had to take my camera. Love the sun haze on her sunny hair. 🙂

What type of creativity, create, creation (whatever play on words you want!) did you find this week? 🙂
Aw! It DOES look like sunshine. It’s so long and pretty. It’s been nice not having to brush my girls’ hair the last few weeks (got it braided in Jamaica) But it was finally time to take them out….and look what it turned out like! I used picnik to create this scary rendition of Livie with her braids just taken out : )

So pretty ! Her hair is like sunshine ! I’m amazed that you have never cut it ! Not once !? Wow ! That’s restraint !!
such lovely sun…and hair, too :).
here’s my creation for the week: http://www.mentalinventory.blogspot.com/
Beautiful pictures, Stacy. We created jack-o-lanterns last night. Here is the link http://girlsinthegarden.blogspot.com/2008/10/jack-o-lanterns.html
Oh her hair is so beautiful! I always wanted blond hair… never happened… lol
The brush is awesome on the story board. Her perspective on her hair is so cool.
Oh Stacy, These are fantastic. I especially like the first picture in the storyboard. Great, great lighting. Ella has not had her hair cut either and yes, I have started using conditioner in it too to get the snarls out. Although Anya’s hair looks wonderfully thick. Ella’s is very thin still, which I am not quite sure how. Both hubby and my hair are super thick. Anyways, really beautiful shots. I think my shot this week falls into the theme…..
Here’s my contribution
Wow, those are great. She’s such a beauty and I love the story board.
I am traveling this week so I didn’t have a ton of time, but I tried to get ‘creative’ with my pumpkins!
The lighting is just perfect. Anya’s hair is beautiful. I can see why you wouldn’t want to cut it. I love the updates to your site too.
Here’s my creations:

Oh, it IS sunshine…those are lovely captures. And I really like the storyboard!
I didn’t get enough time to execute my create this week – but I had some leftover pics from last weekends creations…

I totally admit to hair envy.
You are not biased in thinking she has beautiful hair – I love the absolute soft look of it and the million shiny shades that give it texture.
My sister had two bald babies, and I was really hoping for a curly-headed boy.
Ask my husband, he’ll tell you… I was in LABOR, getting checked out. I actually said to the nurse, “I will pay you if you can tell me he has hair”.
She laughed and said, “yep, he’s got hair!”
I was relieved and excited all at once.
Fast forward a few minutes and we all looked in shock at his “hair”.
Literally the only place he had it was exactly where the nurse had touched.
A long straight patch of hair that took some coaxing to stay down.
He was “Monkey Boy” for quite some time.
So – I’m loving Anya’s head of hair – vicariously! 🙂
Your “fake” sunshine looks good. 🙂 Although you’re right her hair might be getting too long if it’s turning into tangles faster than you want to believe.
I went with horses and sunshine this week. Still have lots of pictures from the ranch visit last weekend.

Gorgeous!
I (finally!) have a bit of creativity to share this week….

I am about to spoil your delightfully creative theme I’m afraid, with my incredibly uncreative effort!!! LOVE the shots of the Princess’s hair.

Her hair is the color of sunshine.
My sister did not get my youngest nieces hair cut unitll she was 4. When she did they donated it to Locks For Love. They didn’t cut it all off just 10 inches and it still was long and beautiful.
LOVE these Stacy! Those sunwashed, blonde curls are to die for…DON’T let a kid salon touch it…maybe you can take her to whoever does yours?
What gorgeous hair and sunny pictures. I love the light. I really love the story board for this too. I haven’t done story boards for a while.
Here’s what I have done recently. (and what Harrison as done.)

Beatiful Stacy!! Her hair is gorgeous – especially in that lighting 🙂
Here is my “create” for the day.

Shot #2 is pure perfection in my eyes. AWESOME shot Stacy!
Hi, I usually don’t comment much, but you hit something with me this time. I’ve been struggling with creativity for the past two weeks, had to illustrate a quote and make a 360 degree panorama for photography class, and now I have to come up with a composite (lots of different pictures, one theme) in a particular composition for watercolor class. Tearing my hair out here (thank goodness it’s not anywhere as pretty as Anya’s!)
I do want to tell you that I’ve enjoyed your pictures, and I enjoy all the outfits that you make. I used to make my kids clothes, but it got to be a big hassle what with working and all. Yours are really beautiful.
I hear you about wanting to break out of the box, so I tried some composition stuff this week. The first one in my entry is a little strange at first, but I kind of love it now.

LOVE the super sunny hair you posted, beautiful!
That light is just perfect. Fantastic!
I LOVE her hair. It’s like mine was when I was a little girl…
Her hair really is gorgeous! I bet she’ll get comments on that all her life. The light in these is increible!
GORGEOUS! I love that last shot. Her hair is perfect for sunset shots!
