It can’t be just any ‘roni and cheese…it must be the Boston Market ‘roni and cheese.  I usually hear these words at least a few times a week as I pull out of daycare.  A hand outstretched in the direction of the nearest Boston Market store.  A plaintive wail as I head in the opposite direction, towards home, and a non-‘roni and cheese dinner.

Can a child subsist solely on macaroni and cheese?  If there is a study ongoing testing ability for a toddler to survive and thrive on this type of diet, I am sure that we have at least one willing volunteer.  The verdict is still out on the other toddler. She usually eats a bunch of it, but it is always second fiddle to any kind of fruit.  At least one kid likes food with some nutritional content!
