Well, it has been hit or miss this week.  Some days have been crappy (he-he, pun intended 😉 ), and some days he has done really well…until he came home.  Two days this week he went all day with no accidents, but he did have a pull-up on during nap.  We need to master the awake time before the sleepy time.  The other 2 days, well…let’s just say that I have done a fair amount of laundry and thank goodness you can wash tennis shoes!

Due to the rapid pace he has gone through his underpants, I bought him MORE fun underpants.  It’s all about the fun-ness of the underpants.  How else are you going to entice your potty training little boy to forgo the CARS!! on his pullups and put on underpants that require him to actually pay attention to his bodily functions.  I have bought him Spiderman, Superman, dinosaurs, trains, planes, trucks, puppies, and foxes.  If that doesn’t excite a little boy…I don’t know what will!

He can obviously figure out when he has to go, as he goes on cue at daycare.  The problem seems to be getting him to sit his butt on the potty.  You can ask him 10 times every minute if he has to go potty.  He will tell you, “No, no potty,” and then 10 seconds later he will pee his pants.

It may all be in his master plan to aggrivate his mother and father to no end.  It’s working, you know.
