No…I didn’t take these. They were taken about 60 or 70 years before I was born. That’s just a guess though. This summer one of my aunts brought a bunch of old family photos to the family reunion and said, “Take what you want!”. Yes. I was indeed like a kid in a candy store. Most were from the early 1900’s in Loma, MT, which looks like it is still around and still a very small town. I’ll probably post a few more…just cuz I think they are cool.
WOW!!! Those are SO awesome!
Oh yeah they’re cool! Gotta love those long eared mules too. 🙂 One of the neighbors came down our road on Sunday with his 2 donkeys and a little cart. W.W. thought it the coolest thing in the world. However, our horses all went stupid about the donkeys. The owner told me horses and donkeys have different smells and that’s why they don’t get along at first. Learned something new that day!
Look forward to seeing more of the vintage past.
I love the old photos! I always vision what it must have been like taking pictures back then. I would totally be a kid in a candy store withthese photos too. How exciting for you! Especially since they are family history.
I love photos, like these! I have some of my family, too. Love it!
They are great, aren’t they?? I have to find the ones from Brian’s family, too. They are on a disk somewhere! I think everyone needs to have old faded pictures from their family. They are so fun to look at!
I think I’m going to try to scan in the frames, too, and make them into neat looking digital photo frames for my pictures.
Old photo’s are so neat:o) even better when they are links to our past..
These are so fun to look at. I love going to antique shops to buy old photos. There are tons of them.
Those are fantastic…I love how they are holding the colt in the second picture. Thanks for sharing!
🙂
Oh my gosh – what a treasure! I would love to have old pictures of my family like that. Doesn’t it just spark your pioneer imagination??? And a bucking bronc… too cool!
How cool are those! I’d LOVE to see more! 😀
I LOVE old pictures! We have a bunch of pictures of my grandmother’s from when she was a teenager and first married…she was such a little flirt in the pictures! We even found one of her posing for the camera in her bathing suit!!! SOOOO funny to see my grandmother like that…she’s always been, well, you know, my grandmother and very straight laced!
