Last Thursday we had a snowstorm. In about 6 hours we got 6 inches of snow. For those that don’t know…that’s a very fast snowfall! Some of my coworkers were out driving in it when it was coming down fast and furious and could hardly see in front of them. I was smart and stayed put. 😉
This is around 5pm at home. The kids were happily playing in the snow as daddy shoveled and mommy was no help at all and taking pictures. 😉 Kailan was helping daddy shovel until he decided he wanted to shovel the snow back onto the drive. At that point daddy told him he revoked his allowance of $1 for helping. Cruel, cruel daddy. 😉
Sheesh, that is a lot of snow !! You must really really really be looking forward to spring now !!
Playing in the snow is so much fun!Colby told me yesterday that he wishes it would snow again. Me? I am so ready for Spring! The pics, as usual, are beautiful! Anya seems to be born for black and white photography. Her coloring is gorgeous, but she is awesome in B&W. Enjoy the new snow!
such a gorgeous scene! Kai’s dinosaur hat is too cute. 🙂
gr8 family time. Kai should of held out for 2 dollars!!!!LOL gr8 pics. as always. :o)
Oh way gorgeous shots, Stacy!!! Wow!! Love all of them!

He actually shoveled a roughly 5×10 patch with that little shovel. It might be time to get him a real snow shovel and kick him outside;)
Whoa nelly…that’s a bleep load of snow!!
I always tell my husband, if we move somewhere with snow…he will have to get a job working out of our home. It’s lovely to look at but it’s when you have to get from point A to point B that scares me :{ Of course I’m a big baby who has only driven in snow once, that was plenty~
Happy Monday 🙂
It’s hard to imagine that much snow in that short of an amount of time. Although I love how you captured the snowflakes in the midst of their playtime outside. And well, I’m familiar with the shoveling snow or dirt in our case right back into the hole that was attempting to be made. 😉
Brrrr. I am cold just looking at those shots. Beautiful photos.

We just go something like 8 inches here today. I love the way you do the B&W on the photos here, whats your secret? I love the shot of the two of them. They really seem to like it outside despite the cold. Last year Francesco wanted nothing to do with it and this year I had to drag him inside to thaw.
The pics of the kids in the snow are just priceless. They look like they had a wonderful time.
