On Saturday, Anya had her first birthday party invite where she was solo. Usually she has been invited along with Kailan to a party, but this time it was just her. It was at a community center and they had some free play in the gym with a small bounce house. There was laughter ringing from the rafters with about 15 kids having tons of fun. Anya ran from one thing to another and played with her friends. The little blondie next to her below is one of her friends…she’s Anya’s “girlfriend”. They are two peas in a pod, their personalities are so similar. Good thing she lives just a few houses away…errr, maybe not so good. I think these two could get in lots of trouble in their future together!

What laughter did you find this week? 🙂
Looks like a fun party. My kids are starting to be invited separately too these days which usually means we have to split up most weekends to take them in different directions. Just a matter of time I guess. Oh and I love her dress. Super cute!
I bet there was laughter bouncing from one wall to another. Funny, my memories of the BA’s toddlerhood are filled with laughter but tonight I have trawled HUNDREDS of photos trying to get a good shot of her laughing. I managed this one but looked evern harder to find a more recent one, where she wasn’t pouting and trying to look like Marilyn Monroe!!!!! Sheesh. Your time will come I tell you!
Oh BAHAHAHAHAHAH. I just watched your new header!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sounds like a fun – and loud! – time. A bunch of kids laughing is loud anyway, even without an echo-y gym!
Here’s my contribution.
ah, I love it when God sends that special friend… what a gift! I pray that it is a friendship that brings Anya lots and lots of joy! What a blast of a party too! Such a great idea too… 🙂
I found a little laughter in this post:o) thanks for sharing.. and we had to laugh last night cause itty bit came running up and said potty, potty. Wo Ho!! took him in and STOOD him there!!! HE POOPED ON MY FOOT! I’m positive that Rach will be posting about it…We were both rolling on the floor laughing bout it….(after the stinky cleanup) Gr8 pics of Anya and her friend.. Looks like the girly versions of little Dennis the Menaces.. LOL I think you have your work cut out for you with those two hanging together…LOL

🙂
That looks like a fun place to have a birthday party. And Anya’s dress is adorable. I bet you got tons of compliments. I have been removed from the blogosphere lately, but hopefully I’ll be posting more in the coming weeks. Here is my post for this week’s theme. Have a great weekend, Stacy. I’ll be looking for a recipe tomorrow! 🙂
So cute together! And what a fun party!

How FUN for Anya!!! I like the muted colors in your pictures – it helps quiet the noise from the gym 😉

And she got to wear her awesome dress! What a fun day!
We are still searching for some laughter over at our house this week…soon.
I love her dress! She is such a girly, girl! I love those type of places, the kids can really get run off some energy and it’s all in one place. We sometime take Francesco on the weekends if he not able to go outside(due to weather).
Thanks everyone, and yes the kids had a great time! Anya’s worn her dress a few times, and she wears a dress usually everyday. Leggings and t-shirt tops are needed in her closet during the wintertime…dresses can be worn year-round!
That sounds very exciting for her. 🙂 Looks like she had a wonderful time. Sometimes I find it surprising how quickly and easily kids are able to play and make friends. I had a foster parent meeting last night and W.W. was perfectly content to run around with about 6 older kids in the other room while we met. He’d never met any of them before and had a grand time. Well until we left of course. 😉
Love that cute ruffly dress. The 2 of them standing there, they could be sisters.
Here’s to giggling in Mamma’s pants.
First of all, THAT DRESS is PERFECT? And that memory? That’s the stuff little girls are made of. So beautiful Stacy.
