After finally getting my computer hooked back up, I got my tiles designed. Again, these are from drawings I did layered with free textures I found on Flickr. We will put them with some neutral tiles. The place I found to print them is ChangeYourArt.com. I spoke with the guy on the phone and he suggested either the glass tiles or the SSSRT5000 tiles for a backsplash. I was hoping for the tumbled stone, but he said it was just too porous and would stain easily. Darnit!
These are going to be 6×6 tiles in the backsplash:
This is going to be on our greenhouse window sill in front of the sink and will be 8×8 tiles (you can click on them to see them bigger individually):
What do you think? I didn’t want it to be too matchy-matchy but still wanted them in the same color palette. Hopefully they will look cool!
Oh, and apparently that second tile up there is a bit of a Rorschach, since Kailan though it was a guy with big muscles and he wants it on a shirt. 🙂
Gorgeous colors, Stacy!! Really really love the pattern.. I don’t think they are too matchy at all.. really!
Really loving the designs too… Can’t wait to see your finished product!
That’s awesome that you found someone to print the tiles. I can’t wait to see how they come out. I personally don’t see the muscle man. Kailan must have a good imagination.
Fabulash!
(That’s “fabulous” and “backsplash” all in one.)
Wow that is so cool. Love the design and how it flows between the tiles.
I love the colors. Yet another talent from you Stacy, amazing!
That’s awesome Stacy, you are so creative! I really like the 3-piece set for by the windowsill. Can’t wait to see it all come together.
I agree – the last set of three goes really amazing together!
And I can totally see the muscle man! I love his imagination!
Have it said it twenty times yet? I can’t wait to see the finished product! 🙂
Thanks everyone! I can’t wait to see them up on the wall, too. 🙂
Oh…the greenhouse windowsill 3 are fantastic! I think they are all going to look really great together!
Amazing! I can’t wait to see pics of them up in the kitchen!
I love the 3 piece design too. Way cool!
that is beautiful! I think it’s going to be gorgeous!
Oooh neat! Those look really cool. I like the combo and the designs!! Good job!
I love the tiles, especially the triptych at the bottom! Can’t wait to see the finished project.
You are so creative!
Sensational. Can’t wait to see what they look like on the wall. Oh and I can totally see where K is coming from!!!
I knew you would find someplace that did tile. 😉 I like it broken into three pieces the little space in between gives the tile a little bit of white space I like. Very cool. Can’t wait to see it hung. Have you got a grout color picked out yet?
These are AWESOME, Stacy! I cannot wait to see the whole kitchen!! I know you can’t wait to have it done! Good luck!!
