Last weekend, Kai’s gal pal turned 3, too. That is one of the reason’s why they are such good little friends. They have been together in the same daycare since they were both around 4 months old. I think they started there within 2 weeks of each other.
It was a double birthday party with another little girl and the parents rented this cute little place in EP Parks. It is an outdoor center (that’s indoors thank goodness) where they have snakes, turtles, a guinea pig, fish and a bat in cages. The building wasn’t very big but they did have space to have some music set up. The kids were having a blast going from one cage to the next and pointing and screaming at the animals. I’m sure the animals all appreciated it when we left. There was even some beer for the parents, so all in all, it was quite the shindig.
Kai’s presents to the girls were big hits. Avery got 5 little horses that were all different breeds that I found at Target. They are very detailed and I thought that all little girls like horses, and I was right! Kai really liked her present, too, but since it was going to Avery, then he could part with it. 🙂

Anya’s cake…notice how she managed to get all of the frosting off AND the middle filling without having to actually eat any of the cake? She’s talented!
