Spring is a time of new beginnings.
It is a time when the kids can go outside in the sandbox and play together in the fresh air.
It is a time of sunshine and longer daylight hours.
It is a time when nature begins anew.
It is a time to marvel at people actually wanting to walk outside…for fun.
It is a time to refresh, renew and be inspired…and for your children to give you that look because they are sick of the camera. 😉
Go visit Amy at Theme Thursday’s new home. 🙂
Hem hem! I thought you had no time!!!!! Look at all these sensational photos!!!!!! ;-D You’re so lucky to be moving into spring.
I’m glad you took the time. :o) gr8 post Stacy,
That shot of Anya is priceless! I love the sun flares as well. We’re finally having a sunny day today after days of buckets of rain. I’m home without the kids, so I’m hoping to get outside with the camera at least for a little while. Thanks for participating on my first theme thursday!
It looks like spring has sprung a little more in your part of the country than ours. Our bushes are just starting to bud and we have to wear long sleeves and jackets everyday. We are looking forward to 70 degrees on Friday though! Yay Spring!!!
I am so glad it is warming up there. The kids are so much happier outside. Beautiful photos. I love the sunflare!
I think that the first two shots are my favorite – especially the first one! The sun over Anya’s shoulder — just perfect!
*sigh* can’t wait for shortsleeve weather here too! beautiful pics… especially that first one.
and what caused that great expression on Kai’s face? love when you catch a shot like that 🙂
love the sun in those first two. just captures the beauty of early spring warmth :).
Thanks everyone! It was actually in the low 60’s, so nice but not too warm. Anya is apparently cold blooded like her father and doesn’t feel the cold. 😉 Notice that Kailan has long sleeves on?? 🙂 Oh and Kailan’s expression was just from watching people walk by on the path a house over. Anya said she was seeing people walking and then Kailan had to see too. Amazing what gets them excited!
Incredible photos…as usual!
LOL! That look!! Oh, I see many versions of that around here too!!
Beautiful shots and yay for Spring!
🙂
Does that mean all your snow melted? 😉
Great pictures of what I hope spring soon becomes for you if it hasn’t already. I’m so behind right now I may never catch up with blogging…
Oh Hooray! Spring is finally visiting Stacy’s place! You have to be so very psyched. I miss the “walk” photos from you, so I am secretly (or not so secretly, I guess!) pleased to see the back! Especially A.’s “look” – ha!
Just calling back in cos I don’t think I have your email! (I thought I did)…about cleaning the picnic blanket :-)The speed at which we left that picnic after having been abandoned by Himself for two hours meant there was no time for blanket cleaning :-D..we were OUTTA there!!!!! Actually, it took ages to clean the little suckers off and I eventually had to wash the blanket and pick the seeds out of the washing machine >:-( grrrrrrr
That first photo is simply gorgeous! It’s amazing how a simple, ordinary moment like that can be magical. Oh, and Nadia is like Anya – totally cold blooded!
I really can’t imagine living through such a long winter like you guys do! I know it makes Spring so much more welcome, though! I just love that expression on Kai’s face…
Isn’t it refreshing!? Love the photos – as usual, you are amazing.
