Consultant to hubby: “It’s never been this cold before, right??”

Hubby to Consultant: “Well, it’s unusual….”

Brian works with people that don’t live in these parts, and some were actually born and raised in India.  I’m pretty sure they think they are in Hell right now…at least after it has frozen over…that kind of Hell.

On Friday, I got my severe weather advisory e-mail from the National Weather Service (yes, I’m a dork, but I like to know when the tornadoes are headed my way when I’m at work), and it said this:

Wind chill advisory in effect from 9 pm this evening to 12 pm cst Monday.

A prolonged period of sub-zero temperatures, coupled with brisk northwest winds, will cause dangerous wind chill conditions through Monday morning. The most hazardous wind chills are expected during the late evening through early morning time periods. Wind chills from minus 25 to nearly minus 40 degrees are expected…

Basically, if you go outside…you are insane because the frigid wind will take your face off.

At least today we are now into positive number territory…and it’s snowing!  Whoo Hoo!
