Ah, the weekend is over. It was pretty busy. I forgot to bring my camera to Kai’s baseball camp, but he had a great time. I didn’t end up having to sing, which I was rather glad of…the girls that did the duet sang wonderfully. Then Anya had one of her little friends over for a playdate, and the girls had a good time, too. Later we went to fly kites in the park with the lake below. It was a bit windy, so perfect conditions. We hadn’t flown kites in forever so it took awhile to get them in the air and the kids quickly tired of it. I was bummed since I was having a good time! Anya had a princess birthday party for one of her friends today, so all in all it was busy, busy! I’m a bit tired and may crash early…or not. Kai has been bugging me all day to make him some shirts. I tell ya, these kids are slave driving their mama!
Hope everyone had a great weekend!
Pretty blooms! It’s definitely feeling like summer here–over a week of pure sunshine! My fuchsia is wilting…but that could also be post-traumatic stress disorder, because she fell off the trellis a few weeks ago..
Great pictures Stacy… (as usual) I can’t believe you forgot your camera???? What is up with that? and I was so looking forward to the report on the anthem… LOL
Oooh…love the yellow flowers with the fairy. Beautiful. It was quite wonderful out this weekend, wasnt it? We spent ALOT of time in bathing suits and sprinklers. :0)
You have the most beautiful backyard!
Darn, I was thinking of you when I had to dance this weekend… “well if Stacy can get up there and perform, so can I” 🙂
Sounds like a great weekend!
And too funny about Kai – sounds like they’re glad to have such a talented mom!
Sounds like a great weekend, chock full of fun! And beauty, right there in your backyard. I’d like to be on that deck, looking out at the water right now…
Sounds like a lovely weekend but BUSY! We were too, only one more Sat filled with t-ball and then we can take a break! 🙂 It will be nice to have our Saturdays back.
Have a great week! 🙂
Your backyard is divine and puts me to shame :-(. I have always wanted a little statue like that peeking out from amidst the foliage…
Now get to work mama! Sew sew sew…….
Wow, Stacy – every time you share pics from where you live I just sit back and feel at peace! That MUST be the secret to how you get so much done! 😉
