According to the NWS (that’s National Weather Service for those not in the know…those that don’t get their e-mails…those that aren’t geeks), we are going to get a potential foot of snow by Sunday afternoon. Did I mention we don’t have a snow blower? I wonder if one of our neighbors will help. I mean they need to get some use of them, right? They’ve only been used a few times this winter. We are just helping them out! Really…we are.
One thing is for certain…we need to remember to bring the snowpants and snowboots home from daycare on Friday. I can only imagine the devastation on Kailan’s face if he were unable to go outside and “help” daddy shovel. Of course once he goes out into snow that is halfway up his body he may change his mind. I’m pretty confident the little girl won’t want to be put down into that nasty business.
Those precious little tootsies are not meant to touch snow, don’t ya know? Remember this one from New Year’s Day? Yeah, not fond of snow. It’s cold, it’s wet, and it get into parts that don’t deserve that treatment. A girl after my own heart!
At least it isn’t supposed to be as bad as the snow that hit the Northeast last week. Two feet of snow is a bit much…that would really tire the hubby out….having to shovel all that (notice how “I” and “shovel” are never connected here?) 🙂
