- My back is better since going to see the chiropractor. The pain shooting down my leg has lessened to a great deal. My favorite part?? After my adjustment I go to either the traction table or massage chair. Both are super duper massages. I want one of those chairs for our house. It might be one of those “must have” purchases when we finish our basement. 😉
- Tuesday night was National Night Out and our neighborhood had it’s annual get together. We got the notice for it Monday night. A little last minute, but what can you say. If you don’t have to organize it, then you shouldn’t complain! The kids had fun looking at the firetruck and police car when they stopped by, and had fun with the neighbor kids. I wonder if our friends knew that buying their house right where the party happens every year obligates them to help in the planning?? Might as well…all the kids were playing in their yard!
- We finally got some rain this past weekend, which was very much welcomed. The showers have been skirting our area and going either north or south of us. We are in a drought here, but hopefully the rain helped that out a bit. Oh, and this July went on the record books since we didn’t have one day over 90 degrees…heck, I don’t think we had a day over 85 degrees! It was in the high 70’s most of the month. Summer…where are you???
- I am working on purging some stuff from the house. Do you ever feel you have way to much “stuff” just sitting around and taking up space? I really feel like that. Over the years you just accumulate stuff and put other things away that you may “someday” use. I’m tired of all the “someday” stuff sitting around.

Kai starts Kindergarten in about a month. It is hard to believe that he will be starting school already. Time sure flies when you are having fun! We need to go do our shopping for the school stuff soon before it all gets picked over. He’s really looking forward to it, too. There are several Kindergarten classes in his school and I really hope that he gets put with some of his friends from daycare.
Gorgeous pictures. Glad your back is feeling better. Can I come to your house when you get the traction table? I’ve always wanted one of those massage chairs. But it’s been a hard 3000$ to spend.

Wonderful pictures. Just wait once they start Kindergarten, the time rely flies. Hubby and I have been talking about all the extra stuff in our house. I think we are going to load up quite a bit and take it to this consignment auction.
HA, we are going on record with 40+ (still counting) days over 100 since Summer started. Not sure which record I’d like to live through. So glad you are feeling better.
So pleased your back is feeling better and oh boy, massage….yeah BABY!!!! I LOVE it!!!! 🙂
So, school approacheth? it’s a milestone alright. Are you ok about it?
Those flowers are so beautiful. Makes me look forward to spring.
So glad your back is feeling better! When I had my back injury & went to physical therapy for several months, I always loved the massages – I can actually remember several times falling asleep & waking up drooling! LOL!!! & I’m right there with ya on the extra stuff -I can’t stand it! We purged a TON since our move – there is still a LOT more I’d like to get rid of, but DH is the pack rat around here…he always says he’s “gonna use it someday” or “gonna sell it”….ugghhh….
That’s funny because I was going to ask you about your back if you didn’t mention it in the next couple of posts. I’m glad you are feeling better.
Wow, time does fly! Glad to hear your back is feeling better….I’d love a massage chair too! 🙂
