This Tom was a bit more successful than the cartoon character, though. Also HIS name is Ballerina. Guess who named him? 😉
Why yes the mouse did run between my legs…thanks for asking.

Ha Ha Ha!!!
great capture…. Did you shriek????
ROFL
I may have shrieked a little. 😉
oh my goodness !!!
did ballerina (ha ha !) catch his prey in the end ??
What a fantastic capture!!! I think I might have just freaked.
EEEEEK! Just thinking about that about gave me a heart attack. I do NOT like mice!!! But, that’s one heck of an awesome shot!
I was about to say. You were either really close to that mouse or had a zoom lens on. Yikes. Cool capture for sure.
That’s great! It’s such an attentive look on his face too. Like he’s looking for the next one which I bet you weren’t. 😉
THAT is an awesome capture! I love kitties, but I’m kinda glad the mouse got away 😉
Now THIS is dedication! You were close to a MOUSE who was being chased by a CAT. Great shot!
No way you caught that cat and the mouse! WE had one (a mouse) that our cat had trapped on our screened in porch today. I kept trying to rescue it but it would screech at me and act as if it was going to bite me. Finally with the screen door open he dashed out the door, jumped from the deck, and landed God only knows where.
The field mice that hop around on their little cute legs aren’t nearly as wild. I was just about willing to leave the cat and the mouse out on the porch and let the best man win.
But evidently mice can fly.
