Remember when I showed you a picture last Friday of our frozen lake? Well…it’s not frozen anymore! After about 3 days of above average temperatures (including an 80 degree mother-nature-teasing-unseasonably-warm-day on Monday), our little lake has unthawed and allowed our various flying friends to take a leisurely stroll on the water. What a difference a few days makes!
When we went for a walk Monday night, Kailan wanted to “See the big deer. I pet the big deer.” Sorry kiddo, no deer were seen that night, and I’m pretty sure there wouldn’t have been any petting. But, you never know…they are pretty tame deer. 😉
What a difference a week makes! It’s been lovely here, too. 83 today and breezy and beautiful! And, it’s supposed to storm tonight and tomorrow–I can’t wait! I’ve been waiting all winter for a chance to photograph more lightning!
Well, have fun with the photographing lightening! I will have to try to tackle that this year.
