Anyone have any to spare?  Because we apparently have NONE!

We were planning on waiting to get a new plasma TV until we had paid off our credit card.  Well, we owe money to the IRS, so we won’t be able to get it ALL paid off.   And, well, ummmmm, we went to Best Buy, only to look at TVs.  Then we got all dazzled by the plasma’s with the Bose surround sound.  Ooooh, ahhhhhh!

Next thing you know, we are talking about buying one.  Yeah, this happens to us every time we go to just look.  We were saved by the salesman that said, “You mean we would be installing it into a brick fireplace??  Well, let’s hold off on buying one until we look at it.”  Whew…now we can think about the tantalizing purchase.  Yeah…like that is going to help.  Noooo, all time has done is allowed hubby to research everything we were planning on purchasing and daydream about having it up there on the wall.  *sigh* It would look so nice up there!!

Personally, I just want to get the behemoth 54 inch gigantic box out of the corner of our living room.  I want to reclaim that space!  We purchased it in 1999, so we are so not cool and hip with our dated TV.  If burglars broke into our house, they would take one look at it, thumb their nose at it, and walk back out the door.  Yes, they wouldn’t even bother with it…it’s that dated.  It’s like comparing my sleek little Razr cell phone the original ones that would take up your entire purse.

The big box is great to watch movies on, though, and since we hardly ever go to the movie theatre any more it is nice to have that in your own house.  However, um, after watching the picture clarity on those plasmas….well, we had to wipe the drool off of our chins.  Of course, Kailan was drooling right along with us and was just mesmerized by the TVs.  Yes, we have ruined our child.

Yup, we’re buying it…hopefully.  Bring on the interest-free financing!
