Little baby boy T. is swimming around in his mommy’s womb, he’s moving and kicking, but he’s not expected to live without assistance beyond his current warm protective home.  After 5 ultrasounds and 36 weeks the doctor’s have just noticed that his brain stopped growing.  If he does live, he isn’t expected to be able to breathe or walk on his own.

Now, instead of preparing to welcome their sweet little baby into their family, they are trying to prepare themselves for what may happen.  The doctor’s haven’t given them much hope.  I’m sure you can imagine…they are a mess.  They will learn more on Monday, as to what the next step’s are, but from what the doctor’s have said this week they don’t expect to hear anything good.

As this is the weekend of miracles, please, please pray for another.  Pray that the doctor’s are wrong.  Pray that baby boy T. is born healthy.  Please pray for his parents, too…they need our prayers and our love to help them get through this.

After speaking to his mommy today, and crying with her, I can only imagine the heartache she has right now.  We all dream of bearing happy, healthy children that we can hold and love.  After 9 months of waiting, this is the last thing you expect, or want, to hear.

My heart is aching and breaking for you M, but I’m praying and hoping, too.  Love ya, hun.
