Well, I really, really hope that the size fits the winning bidder since it took me many hours to make it. Here is the flier that I am putting up and then I will put the outfit on the auction. Anya was not wanting to stand still for me, so those pictures aren’t the best. It is pretty cute, if I say so myself. I used a pattern for the underdress and then made the top dress from scratch.
It’s adorable! I suppose my boys might balk at wearing it, or I would bid on it myself… 😉
This is so beautiful.
Unbelievable.
Have I ever mentioned that you truly are my hero?
Seamstress…photographer…mother…cook…wife…friend…
I love it.
Thanks so much ladies! I am pretty happy with how it turned out, but it was time consuming. It would have gone so much quicker if I could have just serged the seams, but I don’t have a serger.
Alissa, I think my hubby would have issues with that, too…Kai would probably try it on just because it was something I make and since I make most things for sister… 🙂
Lori, thanks for the lovely comment. 🙂
Natalie, you are too sweet. 🙂
Wow, that’s gorgeous! You are an amazing seamstress. I second Nat’s comment! Is there anything you don’t excel at?
Thanks Christina!
As for my excelling at things…I’m a bit of a perfectionist. Shocker, I know! I am strong in both the left and right sides of my brain so I think that helps me a bit. In doing the patterns, I can envision the design and then do the math to figure out how to create it. I think being a perfectionist also is very tiring…I never get enough sleep! 🙂
wow – that is amazing! i had no idea you were such a seamstress. i need to go check out more pictures of your clothing.
beautiful!
Thanks Amy! 🙂
