Not sure how it happened, but apparently another year has gone by and our baby boy is now SIX. This year he started Kindergarten and last week we had his first school conference. His teacher really likes him and said he was a really sweet boy. With the exception of his little klepto incident, of course. He is doing well in school, and even tested very well in a new exam they are administering to Kindergarten students. I wouldn’t doubt that he would do well, though. He has been in daycare for so long and they have been teaching the kids things the whole time. We even enrolled him in an optional phonics program, to help him in his speach.
This weekend he is going to have a Halloween Birthday Party with a few friends. He only wanted to invite four kids, and so far we have RSVP’s for two. I’m sure they will have fun if it is only that many. We borrowed several totes of Halloween lights, pumpkins and other paraphanalia from his Aunt Susie, so we can create a Halloween room in the basement. Should be interesting!
Happy birthday our little man!
Happy birthday, Kai! Hope this year is six times the fun.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Kai! Wow, 6!
Happy Birthday! Six seems so old doesn’t it? I am so glad he is doing well in Kindergarten. I hope he has a fantastic birthday.
How exciting! And how the time flies by eh? 😉 I see he’s sporting a nice design on the black tee too. Hope you guys are enjoying the birthday.
Happy Birthday Kailan. were does the time go? don’t blink Stacy tomorrow he will be 18…
Happy birthday Kai! Wow, 6 sounds so….big! A Halloween birthday sounds like fun.
Look at that thoughtful pose. The lighting is so beautiful on his face. Time seems to fly so much quicker the older we get too. Its not fair that we cant slow down time to watch our babies grow. Happy Birthday Kai!
Happy birthday to him! What a lovely picture to remember this time in his life. I have a six year old little guy too and it’s just a precious age.
I have been under a rock (well, a pile of projects!) and totally missed this one! I hope you had a great day, Kai – and a fantastic year! Six is awesome! (As Emma will attest to.)
Happy Birthday to the big boy!
