Now, I just have to patiently wait until it arrives in the mail! BH Photo has 6 months no payments/no interest right now, plus it was on sale for the lowest price I’ve seen (from a reputable seller at least!). I have been saving to buy it, so I’ve got around half of it already. Add in a wedding or two I’ve been asked to do in the spring and I should be able to get it paid off from my photo gigs. Brian said I could only get it if it would make me happy…and it really, really does!
My little D50 has been a trooper, but I’ve been feeling it’s limitations for quite some time. It has a hard time during the winter and in lower light situations. This camera has so much more capabilites, and I have heard the color is pretty similar to the D50. This camera can also do off camera flash, which the D50 could not. I just need to do some research on what I need for that, and then I have something new I can learn. I can’t wait to see what this camera can do, and I should get it just in time for Christmas.

Ay… if you’re feeling the limitations of a camera and you’re still getting the kind of shots you post on your blog… I should just bury my Canon in mourning right now, LOL.

I forgot you were also a December birthday girl! What a great present for yourself. I can’t wait to see what you do with it either!!!! Wish I was more savvy with photography. I always have more fun with it in the holidays when I can ‘play’ with settings etc and learn what the camera can do….
