We got the school pictures back, and lo and behold, the pictures that I wanted most of all were on the fakey backdrop.  Ignored!  Yet again!

Yes, it’s like I was talking to one of my children.  I dutifully checked the box where it said no fakey backdrop, but still the pictures of them together were on the fakeness.  Completely doesn’t match their clothes, too…it looks like a fall scene.  Ugh.  Ergh.

Of course, I am buying them.  All of them.  Such is the nature of a parent and of the pricing systems that these large portrait companies create.  If I bought them by the sheet it would be more than if I bought each entire package.  What a racket.

Last time, though, I didn’t buy any of the pictures.  Of course, there were none of Kailan because he refused to let them take his picture and Anya looked like she had just woken up from a nap after she had rolled in some food.  Needless to say it took me about 2 seconds to shove them in the envelope and hand them back.  I take enough crappy pictures, thank you very much, I don’t need to spend $60 for more.  I could buy a new pair of shoes with that.

Here are the pictures.  Yes, I scanned them in and I am an evil copyright infringer.  At least I bought them, and I’m not planning on making any printed copies.  I think I bought enough to go around!  So, to our relations…we’ve got some pictures here for you…wallets even!

Note the the pictures of them together.  Note the fakey backdrop….not matching the clothes.  Ugh.
