How precious is this photo (and little girl)?! I’m loving me some curly ponytails. 🙂 Your b&w conversions are just spectacular. Or do you shoot most of them as b&w?
I shoot all in color and then convert later in Photoshop. I used the above conversion with a little tweaking. Every photo is different and requires “tweaking”.
Using the Virtual Photographer plugin, I converted to “bw”, added a duplicate layer (ctrl j), converted that layer to “hollywood” (I think), then adjusted the opacity to my tastes.
I adore your b&w conversions and this one is no exception. Her hair it getting long! And I love those pants next to the variegated leaves of that plant.
Love the “circle of light” idea! I’m gonna have to play with that!
Thanks Christina! The Circle of Light was actually how the sun was hitting her and not a PS thingy. The sun was setting and where she was standing was right in the light. A fun shot!
