He painstakenly colored both sides of a piece of paper with a yellow marker. The children cut it into little teeny pieces and laid them upon a green tissue, as a gift for the little trickster. They hoped to appease the Leprechaun…they didn’t want their milk to turn green.
Luckily the Leprechaun’s heart was gladdened by their gift, and he gave to them a few pieces of gold from his pot. Gold *chocolate* coins that is…a kingly gift for the little Irish children.
Completely sweet, your two. Making me miss that my boys no longer believe in the little leprechauns that once came in the night and froliced throughout the house.
Oh that is just stinkin’ cute! LOL!!
What a fun idea!!
Very, very cute Stacy!
So creative!!! There aren’t many things better than Irish children 🙂
Great tradition and lovely shot. What patience to colour BOTH sides!!! I don’t think I’d twigged your Irish connection…
How totally sweet is that? I love that he colored the paper so meticulously….and chocolate gold? What could be a better reward!? :0)
chocolate coins – now that’s my kind of leprechaun!! So sweet that he colored that paper so carefully. I think we’ll be having a visit from the leprechaun a bit late, since N isn’t here this week!
I’m totally gonna steal that idea for next year.
