Oh so serious. He was actually just watching some other children playing, so he was in deep concentration. Normally he is such a silly boy and on the way to this family reunion last Saturday, he regaled us with knock knock jokes:
Kai: Knock-knock…who’s there?….Tiger!! Rawrrrrrr!
You see he does all the parts himself and then laughs at his hilarity. It really is quite cute! 🙂
I took this picture inside a big shed with Kai looking out at the sunny view outside. Camera settings were: f5.0, 1/500 SS. See more fun shots at Picture This.
Nice shot! I’ll be sharing that knock knock joke with my kids… Too funny. They are all three into them right now – even the two year old who can’t really talk. It’s a riot.
Teach him this one..
Knock, Knock. Who’s there. Boo. Boo Who? Why are you crying?
That is stunning.
That’s a great photo! The lighting is amazing.
This is beautiful. I can’t believe it was taken inside a shed! Amazing!
Prince Kai looks quite regal in this stance. Stunning.
Warning, once the jokes begin they never seem to stop. 🙂
I saw this on Flickr and it caught my attention. A very striking photo. Such perfect light and the black background works perfectly. I like the little touch a bluish hue, too. Your pics have had a different feel to them lately, you’re changing your style!
INCREDIBLE, what a great capture.
Definitely my favorite of the week so far (and I am more than halfway through the links!)
That is gorgeous. Just wonderful…so professional.
He is quite the photogenic guy, isn’t he? I didn’t realize kids got in to jokes so young. When my second graders discover the joy of a joke, they NEVER STOP.
Do you have your pictures printed at color incorporated? I found that link on i love photography. Just curious. I’m looking for a place to have some of my favorites printed so they will be suitable for nice framing. I also think having a more “professional” lab would be nice for special pictures that I want to give as gifts.
Wow — that is an amazing shot! I love it!
It almost looks like a painting!!!
What dramatic lighting. Very effective for the black and white. It’s gorgeous.
Thanks for all the nice comments everyone! 🙂
Alissa, thanks for the joke. 🙂
Christina, I think my style is still evolving. I have been trying to do the b&w conversions myself lately instead of usinng an action or plug in so those may look different.
Natalie, I have heard good things about Color Inc. I use mpix.com for my printing and have been happy with them. I want to give Color Inc. a try too.
Stacy – it really is a beautiful shot – the lighting!
Oh, and since so many people were flumoxed by the Fluffernutter, I’ve put up a post:

In case you don’t make it, it’s a peanut butter and Fluff (a light, sticky marshmallow creme) sandwich. It is delicious!
